The Squale 2001 Heritage Michel Laval Limited Edition 2001LAVAL.HT is a great Swiss Made watch that just oozes character. This special piece is a faithful reproduction of the model chosen by renowned explorer Jacques Cousteau. It was gifted to Michel Laval, first officer of the Calypso. The design is different, but still very practical. For example the bezel, you can rotate it (bi-directionally) by pushing it in. A simple thing, but ever so practical when diving. The case has relatively short lugs, which means this watch fits extremely comfortably on your wrist.
The watch itself is very modern in terms of comfort: sapphire crystal with an AR coating, a Sellita SW200-1 Elabore, a tremendous 600m water resistance and a very comfortable tropic rubber strap. A serious Swiss Made diving watch with a ton of wrist presence!
